About Dr. Albrecht Mahr, Medical - Psychiatry

This workshop reveals hidden patterns that disrupt love’s flow through the generations. Restructuring these imbalances brings harmony to the family system effectively addressing emotional, mental and physical suffering by restoring love’s flow to our lives.

A prominent Family Constellations facilitator, Dr. Mahr has collaborated intensely with Bert Hellinger for ten years, offering global workshops and trainings.

Albrecht Mahr from Wurzburg, Germany specializes in Psychotherapeutic Medicine and is a training analyst of the GermanPsychoanalytical Society (DPG) and German Association of Group-Therapy andGroup-Dynamics (DAGG). Trained in Ericksonian Hypnotherapy, Gestalt Therapy, Holotropic Breathing (S. Grof) as well as in Music Therapy and in Body Therapy, he teaches Systemic Family Therapy worldwide in the training ofprofessionals. Past chair of the International Bert Hellinger Association for SystemicResolutions, Dr. Mahr has collaborated intensely with Bert Hellinger for the last 10years, and holds workshops on Family Constellations for both clients andprofessionals. At present, Albrecht is one of the most experienced practitioners of family constellations.

His interests in the contribution of systemic constellation approaches to the transformation of large groupconflict has led his founding of the Wurzburg Institute for Systems Constellations, of the International Forum of Political Constellations and the organization of international conferences in the series “Fields of Conflict – Fields of Wisdom” dealing with systemic constellation work and related fields of conflict transformation. The upcoming conference in 2006 will change its title to “I am…, You are…”- From Dangerous Images of Self and the Other towards Collective Wisdom” (2008).

He brings his rich and multifaceted experience with systemic work to N. America from his native Germany in Seattle, Washington and Vancouver, British Columbia in June July 2007 (details below).
